As a Surgical Processor, you will support the Medical Device Reprocessing program as a casual/relief employee. The work includes preparing hospital supplies, equipment, and surgical instruments for use. You will also verify working order, complete testing, and report problems appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

- Decontaminate hospital supplies, equipment, and surgical instrumentation
- Reassemble supplies, equipment, and surgical instrumentation
- Sterilize hospital supplies, equipment, and surgical instrumentation




- Apply aseptic technique and Universal Precautions
- Perform biological, chemical, and quality assurance testing

Requirements:

- Complete an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing program
- Hold HSPA or CSA certification
- Ensure instrumentation and equipment remain in proper working order
- Report problems to the supervisor or designate
- Work casual/relief shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on call
