Previous collections experience is an asset, but not required, and comprehensive training is provided You’ll connect with customers to discuss overdue accounts, understand their circumstances and find practical payment solutions. You’ll approach conversations with empathy and professionalism, especially when customers face financial challenges.



You’ll negotiate realistic payment arrangements while following established guidelines. You’ll answer questions and help resolve account-related concerns. You’ll document customer interactions, payment commitments and account updates accurately. You’ll identify accounts requiring additional attention and escalates them appropriately. You’ll work toward individual and team collections goals with ongoing support. Skills and Qualifications Customer service, collections, retail, hospitality, call centre or financial services experience is an asset, but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English. An empathetic, patient and solutions-focused approach to customer interactions. Confidence making outbound calls and discussing sensitive financial matters. Strong listening, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook and learning new systems. Collections tools, skip tracing and credit bureau knowledge are assets. Flexibility for rotating shifts Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., including approximately two evening shifts (12 p.m. to 8 p.m.) monthly and one shorter Saturday shift (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) per month.
