MediSystem Pharmacy, a Shoppers Drug Mart Company, supports long-term care facilities across Canada. The Operations Pharmacist ensures prescriptions meet provincial regulations and company policies while maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include medication checks, patient profiles, interventions, inventory, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure prescriptions comply with regulations and company policies
- Perform technical, therapeutic, and electronic MAR checks
- Maintain accurate patient profiles and Kroll documentation




- Supervise dispensary staff and support continuous learning
- Protect patient privacy and document medication incidents

Requirements:

- Part A Ontario pharmacist licence in good standing
- Availability for scheduled rotational after-hours services
- Two years' pharmacist experience preferred
- Experience in long-term care, retail, or hospital pharmacy preferred
- Strong accuracy, communication, and interpersonal skills preferred
