Lead Northern Light Theatre’s operations in Edmonton through financial management, grant writing, and flexible hybrid work. Help sustain a not-for-profit theatre company.

The full-time General Manager reports to the Northern Light Theatre Board and works alongside the Artistic Director. This position maintains daily administration, operational reviews, reporting, project management, and developmental planning. It supports NLT’s mandate and strategic priorities through cooperative business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily organizational operations and administrative functions
- Oversee finances, payroll, banking, cash flow, and remittances
- Prepare operating budgets and reports for Board approval
- Manage grant writing, reporting, and donor engagement
- Develop fundraising,



audience, revenue, and marketing initiatives

Requirements:

- Minimum two years’ experience in relevant fields
- Understanding of Edmonton’s arts and culture sector
- Experience with Microsoft Office, databases, and QuickBooks
- Success working with community partners, fund development, and patrons
- Strong communication, organization, flexibility, and collaboration skills
