Lead daily childcare operations at YMCA of Saskatoon’s Aspen Ridge Childcare Centre as an experienced Early Childhood Educator and On-Floor Supervisor. Work on-site Monday to Friday.

This full-time temporary maternity leave coverage position combines classroom work with practical leadership. You will guide educators, support high-quality programming, maintain staff-to-child ratios, and help ensure secure, consistent practices. The role reports to the Childcare Centre Manager and may assume designated responsibilities during absences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide daily guidance, coaching, and support to educators
- Cover classrooms during breaks, planning, and documentation time
- Coordinate monthly fire drills and support emergency procedures
- Maintain attendance, safety, and regulatory documentation




- Assist Centre Manager with operational and administrative tasks

Requirements:

- Saskatchewan-recognized Early Childhood Educator certification, Level I, II, or III
- Experience working in a licensed childcare environment
- Knowledge of Saskatchewan licensing and health safety standards
- Solid organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Current First Aid and CPR-C, or willingness to obtain
