Elk Island Public Schools seeks a passionate educator for high school students. You will introduce millwright, steamfitter/pipefitter, instrumentation, electrician, and scaffolder pathways. Campus EIPS connects students with real-world skills and post-secondary opportunities through hands-on learning, industry partnerships, and dual-credit options.

Key Responsibilities:

- Introduce high school students to five skilled trades
- Teach from the recent Heartland Skills Centre
- Support practical, career-focused education programming
- Connect learning with employment and apprenticeship pathways




- Provide instruction focused on workplace and industrial safety

Requirements:

- Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification
- Practical knowledge of the trades
- Occupational health and safety knowledge preferred
- Industry and local community connections advantageous
- Journeyperson ticket is an asset, not required
