Optical expertise and patient service come together at FYidoctors Gander for a full time Optical Associate role, Monday to Friday. Work 30–40 hours weekly while supporting eyewear experiences.

This Optical Associate role supports patients throughout their clinic experience. You will recommend eyewear, interpret optical prescriptions, complete measurements, and assist with contact lens services. The position also includes appointments, billing, payments, and prescription printouts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome patients in person, by phone, and email
- Recommend frames suited to lifestyle, value, quality, and performance
- Interpret prescriptions and complete frame and facial measurements
- Repair and adjust eyewear for proper fit and positioning




- Coordinate appointments, billing, payments, and prescription printouts

Requirements:

- Previous optical or retail experience considered an asset
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach
