IWK Health seeks a Registered Nurse with women’s health expertise for Halifax ambulatory clinics, supporting General Gynaecology and related services.

Reporting to the Manager, Women’s Ambulatory Clinics, this permanent full time nurse applies current knowledge across General Gynaecology, Uro-Gynaecology, Reproductive Endocrine, and Breast Health. The position requires flexibility, cross-training, and shifts supporting operational needs within the Childbirth and Women’s Health Care Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing services across women’s ambulatory clinics
- Apply current knowledge to women’s health services
- Assist physicians with minor procedures
- Teach patients on a one-to-one basis
- Cross-train within the care team when reassigned

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience
- Licensed or eligible for provincial nursing licensure
- Current Basic Life Support certification within required timeframe
- Recent interview and health assessment skills
- Recent women’s and breast health knowledge
