The Relief Support Assistant reports to school leadership and classroom educators as directed by the Principal. This position supports students with diverse needs through modified learning activities, inclusive schooling approaches, and instruction across reading, writing, and mathematics. Work may occur in classrooms or other school areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with specialized and modified learning activities
- Provide academic assistance to designated students
- Work individually or with students in small groups
- Support instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics
- Work in classrooms or other school areas

Requirements:

- High School or Secondary School diploma
- Related experience in an educational workplace
- Knowledge of child development and disabilities
- Understanding of learning strategies and inclusive schooling
- Sign language communication ability considered an asset
