Provide emergency nursing at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown with critical thinking and rapid patient assessment. This is a full time permanent position with rotating shifts. Health PEI seeks a Registered Nurse for Specialty Inpatient / Outpatient Services in the Emergency Department. The RN assesses patients, administers medications, develops care plans, and collaborates with physicians, allied health, EMS, mental health, and police services. The position supports urgent treatment, patient advocacy, education, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Key Responsibilities




Assess patients and analyze monitoring and diagnostic data Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards Administer medications and monitor vital signs Develop care plans with patients and families Coordinate nursing and multidisciplinary patient care

Requirements:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Diploma with extensive experience One to three years of nursing experience Active or eligible Prince Edward Island nursing registration Obtain and maintain clinical specialty education Maintain required professional, ethical, and legal standards Bring emergency assessment, critical thinking, and collaborative nursing practice to Health PEI’s Emergency Department in Charlottetown. #J-18808-Ljbffr
