Job Summary The DSW/PSW/CSW provides respectful, person-centred support to individuals with diverse care needs. The role helps people maintain comfort, dignity, daily routines, and independence in their home or care setting. Duties
- Assist with personal care and daily activities, adapting support to each individual’s needs and preferences.
- Prepare meals, help maintain clean and comfortable living spaces, and provide appropriate mobility support, including heavy lifting when needed and safe.
- Support medication administration according to established care plans and procedures; observe and communicate changes in wellbeing.
- Provide compassionate support in different age groups with dementia/Alzheimer's , disability, mental health care settings, coordinating with colleagues and families as appropriate. Your impact: Consistent, attentive care helps individuals feel safe and supported while enabling colleagues to coordinate their care.



Qualifications Required: Practical patient-care and caregiving skills, clear communication, patience, attention to individual needs, and the ability to assist with daily routines, meal preparation, cleaning, and mobility support. Preferred: Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, senior care, community care, dementia care, home care, group home, or supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health; familiarity with medication administration is also an asset. Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
