We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, making it easy for our customers to do business with us. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient distribution of educational supplies, directly contributing to our vision to be the go-to company for childcares in Toronto and the GTA and fulfilling our mission statement "Working Hand in Hand to Educate." Your efforts will help us maintain our commitment to quality and service. Responsibilities
- To perform tasks delegated by the Warehouse Manager and/or the Operations Manager.
- Receiving shipments from vendors and documenting them appropriately, including checking for damages to shipments and reporting them promptly to the shipping company or Receiving staff.
- To book shipments via various shipping company online platforms (Canpar, Canada Post, Purolator, Freightcom), and scheduling orders for delivery
- Preparing Bill of Ladings
- Using the company’s vehicle to deliver shipments to customers
- Labelling merchandise for stock
- Managing special orders for customers
- Being able to help develop and refine our shipping systems and processes
- Able to lift




- this job requires lifting (up to 49 lbs approximately)
- Experience with assembling furniture is considered an asset
- Maintaining the daily cleanliness of the warehouse
- Participating in inventory-taking
- Assisting in-store customers with furniture picking and other bigger and bulkier item purchases including loading items into their cars
- Help with fulfilling and picking customer orders
- Be punctual
- Flexible with scheduling
- Present yourself in a respectful, professional manner
- Display honesty and integrity with owners and colleagues
- Potential opportunities to go on deliveries Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of various shipping company platforms is preferred
- Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and have general computer skills
- Being a quick learner
- Team player
- Experience with shipping and packing orders (required)
- Able to lift up to 49 lbs
- Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check Mandatory (Daycare Requirement) Assets
- Valid Class G Driver’s License and able to provide a driver's abstract (if asked)
- 3 years or more local driving experience is preferred Pay: From $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
