About the Role
Iridescence Counselling is seeking a Part-Time Therapist to provide individual and couples counselling to adult clients. This is a contract position with the flexibility to work in person and virtually. We are ideally looking for an in-person therapist who can also offer virtual sessions. You will work closely with an experienced clinical lead in a supportive, client-centred environment. You understand that your caseload will build over time, and you are looking to build a caseload with us.

What We Offer

- Minimum 15 session hours per week, up to 25 hours per week
- Understanding that your caseload will build over time, with the goal of growing into a full caseload

- Training and support in our therapeutic approaches for therapists who are new to them Responsibilities
- Provide individual and couples counselling to adult clients in a professional, ethical manner
- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to client needs
- Deliver therapy using evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, schema therapy, attachment theory, strength-based, trauma-informed, EMDR, and EFT
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Jane
- Use Jane for scheduling and client communication




- Work collaboratively with the clinical lead and practice owner
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding scheduling, cancellations, and session logistics
- Adhere to all professional standards, confidentiality requirements, and regulatory guidelines Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, counselling, social work, or a related field
- Current professional registration or certification as a therapist, counsellor, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of counselling experience with adults
- Experience with individual and couples counselling
- Comfortable working independently, with your own computer and the ability to learn our scheduling and charting system
- Comfortable working closely with a clinical lead
- Experience in the therapeutic approaches listed above is an asset, but not required. Willingness to learn and be trained in them is essential.
- Familiarity with Jane App is an asset
- Ability to provide services both in person and virtually
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional liability insurance (required)
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
