Job Summary The Early Childhood Educator supports children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through attentive caregiving and engaging, age-appropriate teaching. The role helps create a welcoming classroom where children can explore, build relationships, and participate in daily activities. Duties
- Plan and lead learning activities that encourage children’s curiosity, communication, and development.
- Provide attentive caregiving, support daily routines, and respond calmly to children’s individual needs.
- Maintain a protected, inclusive classroom and adapt activities to support participation by children with disabilities.
- Observe children’s engagement and progress, share relevant updates with colleagues, and contribute to consistent care.

- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification – Level 2 or Level 3 required.
- Valid Child Care First Aid and CPR certification required.
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search required.
- Practical skills in child care, teaching, and classroom management.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to support children with diverse needs in an inclusive environment. Pay: $19.00-$20.25 per hour
