Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced medical office setting. This role involves managing patient interactions, maintaining electronic medical records, and ensuring smooth office operations. Prior experience with medical office systems is preferred, along with strong organizational skills and proficiency in office technology. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in/check-out procedures
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using electronic medical records systems
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within Accuro
- Collect patient information, update medical histories, and ensure data confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and correspondence




- Support the medical team by preparing exam rooms and assisting with basic clerical duties Skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Accuro
- Previous experience
- Experience with office equipment including multi-line phone systems, fax machines, and scanners
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff
- Familiarity with administrative procedures related to healthcare offices Hours Monday to Thursday 11:30am to 5:00pm This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to providing outstanding patient care.
