Position Description: Under the direction and supervision of the Resident Program Manager, the Activity Aide shall provide therapeutic and beneficial programming and engagement to the residents of Oneida LTC Home, in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the Long-Term Care Homes Act and related Regulations. The Activity Aide will provide group programming, 1:1 intervention, and support self-directed activities, so that the residents can express their physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual domains of wellness. Qualifications:
· Diploma or Degree in Recreation and Leisure, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, or a related program.
· Have working experience in a Long-Term Care Home
· Must be able to work as a Team Player Must have:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent documentation skills Rate of Pay: as per the collective agreement Hours of Work: 75 hours biweekly Shift: Evening Programs Shift – 1130 – 1930 (Shifts could change to accommodate special events and Vacation Coverage) Pay: $23.38-$24.41 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
