Job Summary The Shift Supervisor oversees daily store operations, supports the team, and helps deliver a positive customer experience. This hands-on role coordinates sales-floor and cashiering activities, maintains store standards, and helps meet operational and sales goals. The supervisor also supports staff development and communicates priorities throughout the shift. Duties
- Supervise and support team members, assign shift tasks, and help maintain effective team management.
- Provide attentive customer service, address concerns professionally, and model solid communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Support retail sales and sales management by monitoring performance, sharing product knowledge, and helping the team meet sales goals.
- Oversee cashiering, POS transactions, cash handling, and shift procedures; assist with bookkeeping and basic administrative tasks as needed.
- Help maintain merchandising standards, product displays, pricing accuracy, and promotional materials.
- Assist with purchasing, inventory coordination, and budget-conscious use of store resources.
- Support recruiting and interviewing activities, onboarding, and training and development for team members.
- Help coordinate schedules and payroll-related records, following established procedures.




- Use math and organizational skills to review transactions, track routine records, and keep the store orderly.
- Apply leadership, negotiation, and time management skills to resolve day-to-day issues and keep operations running smoothly.
- Contribute to marketing and store-management initiatives, following company policies and operational standards. Qualifications
- Previous supervising experience; experience in management, store management, or sales management is preferred.
- Background in retail sales, customer service, cashiering, or other customer-facing work.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, pricing, purchasing, and basic bookkeeping is an advantage.
- Administrative experience, including exposure to scheduling or payroll processes, is helpful.
- Strong leadership, team management, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Comfortable with basic math, handling transactions accurately, and balancing multiple priorities.
- Recruiting, interviewing, training and development, budgeting, marketing, or negotiation experience is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcome. Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour Work
