We're Looking for a Creative Thinker Who Brings Ideas to Life. At HANKKi, we believe great content does more than look good. It tells a story, connects with people, builds our brand, and inspires customers to visit. We're looking for a creative, hands-on Content Marketing Specialist who can turn ideas into engaging digital content — from planning and filming to editing and publishing. You'll work directly with our marketing leadership and creative team, helping shape how HANKKi communicates its brand and Korean food culture to Canadian audiences. We value people who think independently, communicate openly, welcome feedback, and aren't afraid to suggest a better way of doing things.

What You'll Do
Content Planning & Creation
- Develop original content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels.
- Independently plan, film, and edit short-form videos, including Reels and TikTok content.
- Capture engaging food, product, lifestyle, and in-store photography.
- Create simple social media graphics, edit photos, and prepare digital content for publishing.
- Translate brand direction and marketing objectives into compelling visual storytelling.
- Identify relevant social media trends and adapt them creatively to HANKKi's brand. Social Media Management
- Manage content calendars, scheduling, publishing, and day-to-day social media activity.
- Write engaging English captions consistent with HANKKi's brand voice.
- Monitor audience engagement, comments, and messages.
- Review content performance and recommend creative improvements. Marketing Collaboration
- Create content supporting product launches, seasonal promotions, store openings, and marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate content shoots with store teams and marketing colleagues.
- Support influencer collaborations and community marketing initiatives.
- Work with our brand designer to maintain visual consistency across digital content.
- Collaborate with the performance marketing team to develop creative assets for digital advertising. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is both a creative thinker and a hands-on creator. You'll be a great fit if you:

- 2+ years of relevant experience in content creation, social media marketing, or digital marketing.
- Proven ability to independently film and edit short-form videos.
- Experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Photography skills, including composition, lighting, and basic photo editing.
- Ability to create simple social media graphics using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and social media content trends.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work in office in Calgary and travel between HANKKi locations as needed.
- A portfolio demonstrating content you personally planned, filmed, or edited. Preferred
- Korean language proficiency is a strong asset. The ability to communicate comfortably in Korean would be especially valuable for collaborating with Korean-speaking leadership, discussing creative ideas, and understanding HANKKi's brand identity.
- Understanding of Korean food, culture, and contemporary Korean trends.
- Experience creating content for restaurants, food, hospitality, retail, or lifestyle brands.




- Experience with food photography and short-form food video production.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and content performance.
- Experience supporting influencer collaborations or multi-location brands. Why HANKKi?
