Position Title – Customer Service Representative Reports to – Manager Location – In-person – 260 Scenic Caves Road, The Blue Mountains Position Summary The Customer Service Representative works with all staff in the day-to-day operations of Scenic Caves Nature Adventures (SCNA). This position is a full-time seasonal position and works November to April, with the possibility for full-time, year-round employment for the right candidate. Also looking for a part time Customer Service Representative with weekend (and potentially some weekday) availability. Responsibilities
· Interact with guests and take payment for day passes, rentals, gifts and snack items.
· Record and hand out cross country ski and snowshoe rentals.
· Help guests with their cross-country skis and snowshoe gear.
· Take back returns and help explain the trails to the guests.
· Rotate between cashier, snack bar and rentals position.
· Work within the health and safety requirements.
· Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
· No experience necessary. 2 to 3 years of related experience in customer service or guest services in the tourism industry or other related field is an asset.
· Experience with cash, tills, rentals, Nordic (cross country skiing) and/or snowshoeing is beneficial but not required.




· High School Diploma or working towards High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience combined.
· Must be available to work consistent weekends and statutory holidays given that SCNA is open 7 days a week (Closed Christmas Day).
· Dependable, organized, positive, responsible.
· Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customer situations with ease and calmness.
· Reliable transportation to get to from work at the SCNA location.
· Clear criminal record. Other Details: Compensation for this position is based on education and experience. Starting rate $19.00-$20.00/hr depending on experience. This position is a full-time seasonal position starting in November and finishing in April. There is potential to become a full-time year-round position with the right candidate.
