The Position The Brand Standards Consultant is responsible for ensuring that our Certified Business Owners (“CBOs”) deliver the excellent service levels our customers expect. This role will primarily handle our 'Special Services' cleaning projects (e.g., carpet cleaning, facility deep cleaning, floor re-waxing, post-construction cleaning, etc.) on a turnkey basis. This role will help develop the quote, and upon award, schedule the work with the customer and our CBO, arrange for equipment and supplies, oversee the timely completion of the work,



ensure the work is completed properly and the customer is happy with the result, and prepare the close-out package for billing. This key position within our organization faces a variety of situations throughout the year, adding challenge and variety to daily activities. The Brand Standards Consultant performs a variety of roles in carrying out their daily tasks – teacher, coach, mentor, inspector, police officer, mediator, and consultant. - Be an ambassador for JAN-PRO by representing the company professionally at all times to customers, potential customers, and our Certified Business Owners.
- Perform audits of our customer’s facilities, ensuring they receive top service levels as defined in their contract.
- Provide feedback on inspections to our Certified Business Owners, guiding them in areas where they can improve their service levels.
- Lead formal and on-site seminars for new Business Owners in our Certification Training Programs.
- Maintain and develop our vast network of Certified Business Owner’s, sharing best practices to enhance their skill set.
- Meet with new customers and Certified Business Owners to establish proper relationships and review services contracted




- Provide estimates and sign contracts for Special Service cleaning (hard floor care, carpet cleaning, windows, etc.) required by our customers.
- Ensures all WHMIS protocols, SDS and workplace health and safety regulations are observed by our Certified Business Owners and their employees.
- Investigate and provide same day resolution for any service deficiencies delivered by our Certified Business Owners.
- Maintain proper records for our company databases. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities we’re looking for:
- Exceptional customer service skills and is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English language (being multi-lingual is certainly a benefit).
- Professional demeanour with ability to both work with others and assume a leadership role.
- Willingness to adjust working schedule to meet our Certified Business Owners at their customer’s location to provide hands on development
- Experience with janitorial equipment in a commercial environment is a definite asset but not a necessity.
- Ability to manage teams of people in organized structures.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Proficiency with computers – particularly Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
- College or University Degree is an asset.
