We’re looking for a warm, attentive Retail and Café Associate who enjoys connecting with people and takes pride in excellent service. You’ll help customers discover our chocolates, choose meaningful gifts, and enjoy a welcoming visit to our shop and café. Our seasonal months are especially lively. This role suits someone who enjoys a busy service environment, works well with others, and can keep each customer feeling cared for when the shop is full. What you’ll do
- Welcome customers and offer thoughtful recommendations on chocolates, gifts, seasonal collections, and café items.
- Take café orders and prepare and serve beverages and café items to our standards.
- Process purchases accurately and enter customer orders at the counter, with phone orders as needed.
- Keep displays attractive, replenish shelves and the chocolate counter, and support seasonal merchandising.
- Maintain clean, inviting customer areas and follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Learn our products and ingredients, following established procedures for allergen questions.
- Work closely with the Front of House Manager, communicating customer requests, stock needs, and service concerns.
- Complete opening and closing tasks and assist with other duties as required. What you’ll bring You enjoy helping people and making them feel welcome. You’re reliable, attentive to detail,



and comfortable moving between customers, café orders, and retail sales throughout a busy shift. Retail, café, or hospitality experience is an asset. We’re particularly interested in candidates who bring experience in both customer service and café work and are available for full time hours. Schedule and availability During seasonal peak periods, availability is required for nine-hour shifts, four to five days per week, including weekends as scheduled. The work involves extended periods of standing and moving throughout the shop, with scheduled breaks.
