Bunch Projects is seeking a Construction Estimator with practical field construction experience in oil and gas facilities. We fabricate pressure piping and structural steel, then install our fabricated work and third-party equipment packages in the field. This role requires someone who understands how those components go together and can independently plan, schedule and estimate the work.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare detailed estimates from drawings, 3D models, specifications and vendor documents, including quantity takeoffs and clear scope boundaries.
- Independently develop fabrication and field installation plans and schedules, defining construction methods, work sequence, crew sizes, equipment requirements and durations.
- Develop labour, material, equipment, subcontractor and indirect cost estimates using realistic crews, work sequences, access and site conditions.
- Confirm vendor supply and field assembly requirements; obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations, including E&I;, heat tracing, insulation, coatings, civil and piling.
- Prepare proposals and estimate revisions, document assumptions and exclusions, and hand over budgets,



execution plans and schedules to project teams following award. Required experience and knowledge
- Strong practical knowledge of pressure piping and structural steel fabrication and installation.
- Understanding of field construction from pile layout, pile cut and cap, and steel erection through equipment setting, piping installation and mechanical completion.
- Strong knowledge of equipment package assembly and ship-loose requirements for equipment that is common in the oilfield such as compressors, dehys, amine, and separator packages, and the different installation effort each requires.
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan construction work and estimate labour, equipment and durations from practical experience.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs;, piping isometrics, structural drawings and vendor assembly documents, with experience using Navisworks and strong Excel skills. Additional assets
