- Oversee daily operations of the meat department.
- Ensures meat counter, displays, and shelves are fully stocker.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional-looking department.
- Ensure products are properly rotated, monitoring inventory, monitor for freshness and quality.
- Ensuring all advertised products are available and properly displayed.

Job Description
The Meat Manager is responsible for the efficient and fiscally responsible operation of the department. The Manager will lead and manage staff to achieve the highest level of customer service. The Manager will also manage budgets, labour costs, inventory control, product presentation and merchandising. The Manager will coach, motivate and develop their team to foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an exceptional environment of employee and customer engagement. - Manage staff, from hiring, orientation, training and development, to performance management.

- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, including awareness of product changes, promotions, and seasonal trends.
- Directly responsible to ensure the department achieves all financial targets and maximizes sales and margins, and department labour budget.
- Keeps abreast of local competitor activity, industry trends and makes recommendations on internal pricing and promotions. Other Duties

- Ability to work independently.
- Above average leadership skills.
- Full knowledge of department operations and skills
