Cantonese – Speaking In-Home Support Caregiver *Where Compassion Meets Purpose
* About the Opportunity A Kind Chapter Care Services Inc. is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Cantonese speaking caregiver to provide in-home support for a senior living in Calgary. The family is looking for additional care to help their loved one remain safe and comfortable at home. The ideal caregiver will be experienced in personal care, dementia support and mobility assistance while providing reassurance and relief for family members. Position Details

Location:
Calgary, Alberta
- Hours: Full time preferred
- Schedule: Coordinated with the family
- Employment Type: To be determined
- Pay: $17–$23 per hour, depending on experience
- Start Date: Within the next month or two Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and reassurance to help the client remain safe and comfortable at home
- ·Assist with daily activities and personal care while providing compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance and medication support
- ·Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, tidy and safe home
- ·Assist with mobility and fall prevention; able to lift and move patient safely when required




- Able to communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
- Provide dependable support that allows family members to take breaks with greater peace of mind. Qualifications
- Previous experience caring for older adults or providing personal care
- Fluency in spoken Cantonese to communicate effectively with client
- Comfortable providing personal care, supervision and appropriate mobility assistance
- Patient, compassionate, reliable, and attentive to safety
- Able to communicate effectively with client and family members
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Professional references required
