About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Metal Fabricator / Welder to join our growing custom metal fabrication team. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, can lead by example, and is comfortable working alongside a team in a modern fabrication shop. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in custom metal fabrication, welding, blueprint reading, and operating fabrication equipment. You will help coordinate daily shop activities, support team members, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.
- Perform metal fabrication, fitting, assembly, and welding of custom products.
- Lead by example and provide guidance and support to shop employees.
- Assist with daily workflow planning and project execution.
- Ensure fabrication projects meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Operate and assist with setup of fabrication equipment, including:
- CNC press brakes
- Shears
- Metal bending equipment
- Drill presses
- Saws and general fabrication machinery
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshoot fabrication and production issues.




- Promote a safe and organized work environment.
- Train and mentor junior fabricators and welders as needed. Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in metal fabrication and welding.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Experience operating press brakes, shears, and metal forming equipment.
- Strong welding experience (MIG welding required; TIG welding an asset).
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift materials and work in an active manufacturing environment.

Working Hours

- Night Shift 4 PM
- 12 AM, Mondat to friday Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week Work
