Support cardiac and vascular patients as a Physiotherapist at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, with acute care and interprofessional practice.

Unity Health Toronto seeks a Physiotherapist for its Heart, Lung and Vascular Program. The permanent full-time position serves inpatients across Cardiac/Vascular, Cardiology and CVICU/CICU, with commitments to MSICU, General Surgery and Nephrology. You will assess movement and function, provide physiotherapy interventions, educate patients and families, and support rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide physiotherapy services across cardiac, vascular, cardiology and intensive care units
- Collaborate with interprofessional disciplines to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients, families, staff and academic community members




- Participate in quality improvement and organizational research activities
- Deliver anti-oppressive, accessible care meeting professional standards

Requirements:

- Current positive-standing registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Master’s Degree or substantial equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Current BLS certification or completion during probation
- Preferred one to two years acute medical, surgical or ICU experience
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
