Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Bilingual Broker Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to ensure the accurate processing of payments, collections, and broker account activities.

This role supports brokers, insureds, and internal stakeholders across multiple regions and plays a key role in maintaining efficient accounts receivable operations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation :

The annual salary range for this position is between $48,000 and $58,000, depending on the successful candidate's qualifications, experience, and overall fit for the role.

Key Responsibilities

- Process incoming payments and prepare bank deposits.
- Apply payments received for PAC (Pre-Authorized Chequing) and Direct Bill policies.
- Process banking changes, withdrawal date changes, and billing amendments.
- Manage returned payments (NSF) and perform required account follow-up.
- Prepare registered letters, lapse notices, and other account-related correspondence.
- Respond to inquiries from brokers, insureds, and underwriting teams.
- Assist with account reconciliation and collection activities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
- Support special projects and departmental initiatives as required.

Qualifications

- Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory (spoken and written), as this role supports brokers, insureds, and internal stakeholders across Canada.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting
