Randstad is hiring a safety-driven Material Handler / Forklift Operator for Steel Logistics in Brantford. You will transport raw steel, heavy parts bins, and finished assemblies while supporting shipping, receiving, line feeding, and inventory control. The assignment is full-time and temp-to-permanent, with eight-hour day, afternoon, or night rotations. Forklift certification and site-specific safety training are provided in-house when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate propane counterbalance forklifts, walkies, and stackers safely
- Load and unload flatbeds and transport trailers
- Feed machine cells and explicit finished parts containers




- Track stock movements using RF scanners and warehouse software
- Prepare, count, band, weigh, and stage steel materials

Requirements:

- Experience operating counterbalance propane forklifts or powered equipment
- Background in steel, fabrication, automotive, or industrial distribution
- Working knowledge of RF scanners, ERP, or warehouse systems
- Ability to interpret bills of lading and production documents
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
