CORE Energy Recovery Solutions (https://start.core.life/) Zehnder Group AG (https://www.zehndergroup.com/en) Essence of the Role As a production technician you will be responsible for the on-time delivery and quality of CORE’s essential product component, the membrane that is used in all our final products, while applying your ingenuity in supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate coating line and be responsible for changeovers and total preventive maintenance per defined schedule and procedure.
• Responsible for inventory management of consumables.
• Prepare coating solutions per work instructions and recipes at the start of each run/shift.
• Be responsible for meeting production and quality targets.




• Ensure all Quality and Shift report documentation is completed.
• Inspect and review incoming materials for anomalies or quality discrepancies.
• Identify and help solve equipment downtime issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot production equipment issues.
• Contribute to CORE’s culture of Lean Manufacturing, Innovation and Continuous Improvement.
• Assist in the creation, implementation and improvement of procedures and systems.
• Follow safety regulations, work in a safe manner and raise awareness of safety hazards.
• Maintain a protected, clean, and organized 5S work area.
• Become proficient in multiple processes and help cross training other team members.

Qualifications:
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Experienced in material/inventory management.
• Experienced in operating production machinery.
• Comfortable with computers using Excel, Word, Outlook.
• A winning, positive attitude is imperative.
• Flexibility to work Monday-Friday Morning (7-3 A shift), Afternoon (3-11 B Shift), Standard days (9-5). Compensation will be based on the applicants experience. The anticipated TTC is $70,000-$78,000 CAD.
