This Paralegal supports the Counterparty Risk, Financial Assurances team. The work includes preparing, negotiating and administering financial assurance documentation with internal and external Legal, analysts, business partners and counterparties. Success requires accuracy, sound judgment, client service and ownership from initial request through record management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, negotiate and execute financial assurance documentation
- Review documents against templates, contracts and negotiated terms
- Administer amendments, renewals, replacements, expiries and reporting
- Draft correspondence and supporting financial assurance documentation
- Maintain accurate records in approved systems and repositories
Requirements:
- Recognized Legal Assistant or Paralegal program completion
- At least four years of Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Robust organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
