This Excavator Operator position requires three-plus years in construction or industrial environments. You will perform finish grading, excavation, trenching, backfilling, material handling, and related earthworks. The work includes operating without GPS, completing inspections, reporting equipment deficiencies, and following site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 13–15T excavators safely and efficiently
- Perform finish grading, excavation, trenching, and backfilling
- Complete pre-use inspections and report maintenance requirements
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and site-specific safety procedures
- Coordinate with supervision and ground crews
Requirements:
- Three-plus years operating excavators in construction or industrial environments
- Required finish grade experience
- Ability to operate equipment without GPS
- Valid Ground Disturbance L2 certification
- Residence in the Greater Edmonton Region
