As a Cook I with Vancouver Island Health Authority, you will work under the Manager or designate in kitchen and patient areas. The position prepares wide-ranging food items through roasting, frying, grilling, steaming, poaching, boiling, and baking. You will portion meals, operate dishwashing equipment, perform cleaning duties, and contribute to patient safety and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare food through roasting, frying, and grilling

Requirements:

- Recognized 12-month cooking program graduation
