As a temporary full time Technologist 1, you will support the Streets Maintenance Division under the Contracts and Technology Supervisor. Your work includes contract administration, pavement maintenance, spring weight restrictions, snow routes, and technical reviews. You will also use engineering principles, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD while providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect snow clearing, sweeping, crack sealing, and pavement contracts
- Coordinate annual Spring Weight Restriction Program activities
- Review and update Snow Route listings




- Prepare quantity and cost estimates with quality control
- Conduct site investigations and inspect encroachment applications

Requirements:

- Technology graduate eligible for CTTAM Certified Engineering Technologist membership
- Technical experience with municipal streets, lanes, and sidewalks
- Knowledge of engineering principles and maintenance practices
- Experience surveying pavement profiles and geometric alignment
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's License
