As a Mortgage Review Officer and Senior Credit Analyst, you will assess mortgages processed through Scotia Mortgage Authority, Home Financing Solutions, and Branch Channels. The work requires retail lending compliance, sound judgment, and detailed reporting. You will identify risks, communicate deficiencies, and support consistent adjudication decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review mortgage files before funding for retail lending compliance
- Assess out-of-policy issues and determine materiality and next steps
- Elevate mortgage deficiencies and administrative findings appropriately
- Prepare monthly reports covering findings, risks, and recommendations




- Identify adjudication consistency, training, and system improvement opportunities

Requirements:

- Expert understanding of retail mortgage and STEP lending policies
- Previous experience adjudicating retail loans, mortgages, and small business credit
- Knowledge of mortgage insurance from CMHC, Sagen, and Canada Guaranty
- Economics or Business degree or diploma with two to four years experience
- Robust written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
