This senior-level contract supports a community health organization delivering health and social services. You will launch the 2027–2030 Strategic Plan and elevate awareness of a homelessness, addictions, recovery and treatment initiative. The work combines strategic communications, engagement planning, storytelling and accessible content development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic communications and engagement plans for organizational priorities
- Create audience-specific messaging, presentations, frameworks and practical tools
- Lead public communications for a complex community health initiative
- Develop equity-informed content across digital,
social and media channels
- Measure communications reach, engagement and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Senior-level strategic communications and content strategy experience
- Expertise in trauma-informed, anti-racist and equity-centred communications
- Exceptional plain-language writing and storytelling skills
- Experience with project, issues and change communications
- Ability to work independently and recommend realistic scopes
