The Clerk 4 prepares, maintains and organizes patient and other records; provides typing support and clerical assistance to health care team members; conveys information and materials related to the activities of the unit; and performs other related and allied duties which contribute to the orderly and efficient operation of the Department.

Minimum Qualifications:

- applicants must have successful completion of Grade 12;
- successful completion of a post-secondary Secretarial / Office Studies program from a recognized institution;
- typing proficiency at a level of 50 words per minute, net of errors, is required;
- applicants must have successful completion of an approved Medical Terminology Course;
- proficiency in the use of computers and experience with software programs ie word processing, spreadsheets;
- neat and legible handwriting style is required;
- excellent communication skills;
- applicants must have a good previous work and attendance record.

Other Qualifications:

- nonviolent crisis intervention training would be an asset;
- additional relevant education and experience would be considered an asset;

Salary Range:

$26.59 - $27.70 per hour

Bi-Weekly Hours:

37.5 hours Bi-weekly / Rotating Shifts
