As an Accounting Specialist, you will support trading activities across power, natural gas, and environmental markets. Your work combines accounting, analytical skills, business understanding, and technology across North America. The position supports month-end close, settlements, controls, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support month-end general ledger close and reporting
- Reconcile trading transactions and complete daily checkouts
- Prepare accruals, entries, invoices, collections, and payments
- Coordinate transaction data with counterparties and internal teams




- Maintain accounting documentation, controls, and process checklists

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in accounting, business, or related field
- Three to five years of demonstrated accounting experience
- Progress toward CPA or CFA designation is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Solid analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
