Support cloud modernization from Toronto as a Full Stack Designer using Java, microservices, Azure, OpenShift, and hands-on application development.

Apex Systems is seeking a Full Stack Designer for consulting work supporting a Top Five Bank. You will translate business requirements into technical designs and build enterprise applications across services, APIs, and user interfaces. The contract assignment emphasizes modernization, migration, and practical coding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate business requirements into technical designs
- Produce high-level designs and supporting artifacts
- Create proofs of concept and code modifications
- Support cloud migration and application modernization initiatives
- Provide technical guidance through deployment and support

Requirements:

- Experience with Java 17, 18, or 21
- Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs
- Experience with Azure and OpenShift environments
- Experience with software and microservices design patterns
- Robust requirements-gathering and technical-design skills
