Lead construction accounting for Ed Seguin & Sons in Northeastern Ontario, using bookkeeping expertise and project accounting knowledge in a hands-on role.

Reporting to the General Manager, this Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting processes while remaining hands-on. The work covers accounts payable, reconciliations, payroll support, job costing, and office administration. You will serve as the primary internal accounting resource.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable transactions and supporting documentation
- Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Coordinate month-end close and financial reporting activities
- Support job costing, progress billing, and project close-outs
- Maintain procedures, controls, permits,



and regulatory reporting

Requirements:

- At least five years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger work
- Construction or project accounting and job costing knowledge preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar software and Microsoft Excel
- Accounting diploma or related education; bookkeeping certification is an asset
