Neighbourly Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to help maintain dependable daily operations. The position includes medication counting, measuring, labeling, packaging, shipment receiving, stock rotation, and inventory audits. You will also keep the pharmacy organized while assisting pharmacists and technicians with patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Count, measure, and package medications under established protocols
- Assist with prescription entry, labeling, and packaging
- Receive supplies and medication shipments
- Rotate stock and support inventory audits
- Maintain clean, organized pharmacy areas and dispose waste safely
Requirements:
- Pharmacy assistant program completion is preferred
- Pharmacy experience is an asset; training provided
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand long periods and lift boxes occasionally
