The Assistant General Counsel will oversee legal and compliance, licensing, governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory engagement. This position supports Canadian operations while partnering with international legal leadership and the executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Canadian legal and compliance functions
- Manage corporate and individual insurance licensing frameworks

Requirements:
- Qualification to practise law in Canada
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience
- Significant Canadian insurance industry in-house experience
- Deep federal and provincial regulatory knowledge
- Understanding of MGAs and delegated authority arrangements Bring insurance regulatory expertise, commercial judgement, and executive advisory capability to Toronto’s growing Canadian specialty insurance platform.
