Stage manage Swamp Donkey Musical Theatre’s The Wizard of Oz in Bragg Creek, coordinating rehearsals, cues, backstage activity, and safety. Swamp Donkey Musical Theatre seeks a Stage Manager for its May 22 to 24, 2020 production. You will coordinate with production, directing, musical direction, choreography, and volunteer leadership. The work includes rehearsal scheduling, attendance, prompt-book maintenance, technical rehearsals, cue calling, and emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Attend production meetings and prepare distribution lists
- Coordinate rehearsal schedules, attendance, props, and production notes
- Organize technical rehearsals and call all cues
- Oversee backstage crews and performance attendance
- Manage emergency evacuation and health-safety procedures

Requirements:
- Previous stage management experience is an asset
- Knowledge of lighting and sound equipment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, team-oriented, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and multitask
- Calm, respectful, and helpful under pressure Bring organized stage management, cue calling, backstage leadership, and calm communication to The Wizard of Oz production.
