Teach therapeutic recreation and health principles at Douglas College’s Coquitlam Campus during the in-person Winter 2027 academic term. The Therapeutic Recreation Department seeks contract faculty for THRT 1204 Principles and Practices of Health. You will instruct students, facilitate learning, evaluate progress, and support learner-centred education. The appointment runs from January through April 2027.

- Teach THRT 1204 Principles and Practices of Health
- Instruct students in therapeutic recreation course content
- Facilitate learning and evaluate student progress
- Plan and manage learning activities and resources
- Provide academic advice and collaborate with department members

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
- Major credential in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation, or Leisure Studies
- Knowledge of health theories and behavior change models
- Post-secondary teaching experience and creative teaching commitment
