The Director of Care leads clinical programs and resident-centred services at a long-term care home. You will oversee registered nurses, registered practical nurses and personal support workers while directing care planning, quality improvement and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead nursing and personal care services across the home
- Direct resident care planning, reviews and revisions
- Ensure compliance with Ontario long-term care legislation
- Recruit, schedule and supervise nursing staff




- Oversee infection prevention, medication and wound care programs

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Five years clinical experience, including two years leadership
- Knowledge of Ontario long-term care legislation and resident rights
- Current BLS or CPR certification
