Lead underground mine estimating with InEight, scheduling, and proposal writing at Cementation in North Bay or Sudbury, Ontario. Occasional travel is required. The Senior Estimator reports to the Manager of Estimating and supports tender requests and Operations personnel. This position leads assigned estimates from Decision to Bid through final proposal submission. Work includes mine development, shaft sinking, project controls, cost estimating, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare competitive bids and engineering studies through final submission Analyze mine designs, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation Build estimates using labour, equipment, materials, and InEight Lead meetings, schedules, reviews,



and proposal deliverables Support project management through tender and construction completion

Requirements:

Ten to fifteen years of relevant experience Underground development, construction, and shaft sinking experience Relevant university degree or college diploma Experience with InEight and scheduling software Canadian work authorization and current Canadian residency Apply underground estimating, project controls, InEight, and proposal expertise to Cementation’s technically complex mining projects.
