Lead capital projects at Ingredion’s Cedar Rapids facility using project management, technical engineering, and safety leadership. This onsite role drives plant improvements. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will manage projects from concept through commissioning, startup, training, and handover. You will coordinate operations, maintenance, safety, procurement, contractors, vendors, and engineering partners. The work supports safe execution, cost control, schedule adherence, compliance, product quality, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage capital and continuous improvement projects Coordinate design, estimating, purchasing, installation, commissioning,



and closure Specify equipment and installations with contractors and vendors Provide plant troubleshooting assistance and implement improvement solutions Mentor less experienced engineers and coordinate functional teams

Requirements:

University degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Food Engineering At least five years of related manufacturing experience preferred Solid project management, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of engineering and unit operations relevant to corn wet milling Effective communication, organization, initiative, and teamwork abilities Apply your engineering expertise, project leadership, and troubleshooting skills to deliver compliant improvements at Ingredion Cedar Rapids.
