Lead emergency communications for TC Energy across Canada, the U.
S. and Mexico, combining strategic counsel with preparedness and response expertise. As a Senior Advisor, you will oversee External Relations’ emergency management, preparedness and response program. You will develop plans, training, exercises and response strategies for incidents, business continuity disruptions and crisis situations. Strategic communications, explicit messaging and coordinated execution are central to this work.

Key Responsibilities

Lead External Relations emergency response plans, initiatives and on-call administration Develop communications preparedness tools, resources and response plans Advise leaders and partners with clear recommendations and messaging Design training programs,



simulations and preparedness exercises Coordinate enterprise initiatives and incident response capabilities

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field Six to eight-plus years’ strategic communications experience Experience leading emergency management or business continuity programs Ability to support incidents and provide guidance outside office hours Weekly on-call availability and occasional North American travel Bring strategic communications, emergency preparedness and incident response expertise to TC Energy’s External Relations team.
