The full time SMS & IOSA Lead supports PAL Airlines' Safety Management System, IOSA certification, and safety and compliance monitoring. Reporting to the Senior Quality and Safety Manager, this aviation professional coordinates audits, corrective actions, safety reviews, and regulatory requirements. The position works with operational departments, management teams, airline partners, and external stakeholders to strengthen safety performance and conformance.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate safety notifications, occurrence reports, alerts, and corrective actions Maintain safety, hazard,



and risk profiles with mitigation strategies Coordinate monthly and quarterly safety reviews and reporting Plan audits, verify findings, and track closure documentation Analyze safety data, KPIs, and operational trends

Requirements:

Two or more years of aviation industry experience Experience supporting Safety Management Systems Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Microsoft Office proficiency and airport security clearance eligibility Apply aviation safety, SMS coordination, operational auditing, and risk analysis skills as PAL Airlines' St. John's-based lead.
