Own plant finance for JM Controls & Electric in Chatham, Ontario, using financial reporting, job costing, and operational analysis. Occasional site visits are required. AdeptAg seeks an experienced Controller to lead finance for the Plantech Control Solutions business unit. You will oversee three divisions, partner with operations leaders, and strengthen consistent accounting practices. The work includes close management, project cash flows, tax filings, budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and profitability recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements Review reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and audits Lead annual budgets and forecast updates for locations Provide variance analysis, KPIs,



and management recommendations Partner on cost control and project profitability

Requirements:

CPA and degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Eight-plus years of progressive accounting experience Three-plus years in Controller or comparable leadership position Experience with inventory, job costing, WIP, and overhead Team-oriented, hands-on leadership style with strong Excel skills Bring hands-on plant finance leadership, reporting discipline, and profitability analysis to AdeptAg’s Chatham-based Controller position.
