Lead mechanical design for OSI marine navigation and bridge systems, using SolidWorks, CAD expertise, and hands-on technical review. Travel is required. This Team Lead supervises mechanical engineers and CAD designers within Hardware Engineering. You will plan work, direct technical quality, and develop team members. The work supports government and naval markets through mechanical designs, 3D models, and drawings.

Lead and supervise mechanical engineers and CAD designers Plan, estimate, assign, and schedule team work Review designs, models, drawings, and GD&T; Resolve or escalate technical and schedule risks Mentor, train, and cross-train team members

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Seven-plus years in mechanical design Two-plus years leading a team or technical lead experience Advanced SolidWorks and familiarity with AutoCAD and PDM/PLM NATO Secret clearance and controlled goods eligibility Apply mechanical design leadership, SolidWorks expertise, and mentoring skills to OSI’s marine systems engineering team.
